Golden hour at the Observatory - T & J Anniversary

Golden Hour at Mt Stromlo Observatory for T & Js Anniversary Session. Celebrating their love with updated photos.

1 min read

T & J got in touch for an anniversary session.

Every year they go for couples photos, before heading out for an anniversary dinner. And I was lucky enough to be the photographer this year!

When we were looking at locations they didn't have a spot in mind, so asked if I had suggestions.
So I sent though a couple of options, and they chose Mt Stromlo Observatory, which I was SO excited about.

I love this location, and have wanted to do a shoot up here for the longest time, and Spring was the perfect time to make it happen. The flowers, and sunshine really helped to make this shoot feel magical.

This location really has it all - beautiful green space and flowers, views, stunning architectural features, and overgrown ruins.

The circular ruins at Mt Stromlo really are stunning at Golden hour, and I love that they are overgrown, and have all the layers to help give images depth, and interest.
It all just makes my photographer heart so happy!

Would you do photos for your anniversary? Do you have a special spot youd like photos in?
Id love to know!

Have a great rest of your week lovers -
