They then chose to walk down the Isle together, which I just cant get over!

What followed was a super sweet ceremony, full of laughter, and so much love from their friends and family. Sarah Marie Celebrancy gave a perfectly curated ceremony, followed by bubbles and laughs with their friends! We then went on an adventure to get photos in some Iconic Canberra locations - Lennox Gardens (duh), Old Parliament House Rose Gardens, and Skyscape.

It was only about two weeks ago that I had an enquiry come through form M & J.
They were getting married very soon, and were after a photographer for their reception only. They had the amazing team from Canberra Intimate Weddings arrange their ceremony, but they decided they wanted to have some photos for their reception too.

And Ill be honest, Im so glad I got to be a part of this evening!
The Boathouse Canberra is a stunning venue, with views out over Lake Burly Griffith, towards Parliament house. What made it even more beautiful was the styling M & J had put together inside.
Their beautiful lavender and Peach colour theme, coming to life with layers of cloth, candles, and mini lamps. Fresh flowers in stunning pastel shades were dotted along every table, giving the venue a wildflower farm feel.

Cocktail hour out on the desk, followed by dinner, speeches, and photo-booth inside.
We snuck out for 20 minutes right at sunset to get some photos outside around the venue, with the lake and sunset as our backdrop. Enjoy this little peek into their event.

I hope you love this little sneak peek into M & Js day as much as I do.
Although I was only there for a little while, its always so special to be asked along to capture someones big day. Its soppy - but I do feel so lucky that this is my job, and I get to do this everyday.

I hope you have a fantastic week friends, take care in this heat. stay Hydrated! (Coffee counts for hydration).
